Facts About Dubai's Bluewaters Island
Bluewaters Island is an AED 8 billion master planned development built on man-made land 300 metres away from the Jumeirah Beach Residence coast. Since the beginning of its construction last May 2013, it has left investors and tourists in great anticipation of its completion due to the residential, hospitality, leisure and entertainment attractions it will offer. The recent opening of Bluewaters Island was a huge event in UAE as it also launched Dubai Eye or also known as Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation Ferris wheel which stands in the island. Dubai Eye is about 210 metres and it provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding areas. The Ferris wheel has 48 capsules, which can accommodate 1,400 passengers.
